My experience@CL2020 matches at chinnaswammy stadium,Bangalore

Opening ceremony and 1st match between RCB and Cape Cobras:
This was my first international cricket match to watch live from the stadium though
i had seen another match which was partially international, the three day match between president's eleven vs zimbabwae at vijayawada. The sight of cricket field under floodlights and the big noise from the crowd in the filling galleries after entering the stadium made me even more
excited.

Opening Cerimony was really a eye feast as i read in the news paper that day morning
though intially i thought it was a part of business to give hype to the tournment.
It was a delight to watch the batting of Ross Taylor and J.P.Duminy.
Crowd kept on chanting the names of players who fielded near the boundary line
through out the game.
Though most of the people went to match hoping RCB to win but i guess
many of them ended up being a fan of dumminy.
Cheer leaders are simply awesome.
I had a very good glance of Mark boucher when he came near to our stands
for keeping practice pre-match.Other players whom i saw a bit closely
being dravid,kumble,kohli and Manish.
One thing i never expected was the craze of ross taylor in bangalore.I think he got the
more cheering than anyone else in the RCB team.I used to have a prejudice on taylor
that he was not such a great batsman and also had a arguement with my brother on this subject.
Now i am a big fan of Ross taylor :)

Match between RCB vs DD on diwali day.
I felt like DD flags outnumbered the RCB ones but this may be because
of big size and bright colour of DD flags.
Again Ross taylor was simply superb and the shewag was very good
at timming the shot.
A big disappoint was the bowling of Glenn Mcgrath, I expected a lot from him :(

My review for chetan bhagat's 2 states-the story of my marriage

This is my second novel of chetan bhagat's,the first being five point someone.
It's about a IIMA student who wants to marry his tamilian classmate cum girlfriend
and the hurdles he and his girl friend face in the process of convincing their parents.

His narration is excellent and the way he narrated the tamil sentences are also
good.
Chennai episode is funny and being a south Indian, sometimes i felt like
offended.
I was completely involved in the story when i was reading the book.
I feel like chetan knows what and how to use the sentences to attract
the youth.

The article on post assasianation of Indira Gandhi.

Twenty five years back on oct 31st, our beloved PM Indira gandhi was shot dead by two of her
personal security guards. The news started spreading through the word of mouth; there were no
24 hrs news channels at that time and the entire country was numb with shock. It was terrible enough that PM had been killed but indira gandhi was more than just the PM.She dominated the country, national consciousness and the public discourse. She had been with us for years and seemed indestructible.

Paradox of our time

we have taller buildings, but have shorter tempers.
we talk too much, love too seldom and hate too often.
we have wider freeways, but narrow viewpoints.
we have more degrees, but less sense.
we have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
we have conquered outer space, but not inner space.
we have higher incomes, but lower morals.
